1. Job description
The company is a 12 Billion US-based unicorn doing payroll and compliance for remote workers and companies.
Your responsibilities:
– Lead a team of 12 salesforce developers across the North American time zone. Can be based in EU as long as there is flexibility in booking team meetings in the evenings etc.
– Perform configuration and customisation of the Salesforce.com platform.
– Meet with stakeholders to determine business, functional, and technical requirements and support application design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
– The team you will be leading is separated into 4 admins, 3 architects, 1 Sr. Salesforce developer, 2 mid- senior salesforce developers, 2 PO’s/PM’s.
– Create/modify existing controllers, controller extensions, and triggers across all platforms.
– Develop highly interactive and customer-centric UI using Visualforce, JavaScript, and JQuery technologies.
– Work Closely with the Architect to assist with application changes planning, development, and installation of upgrades and new releases.
– Integrate multiple systems with Salesforce, including internal proprietary and third-party applications.
– Create and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data.
– Follow and understand Salesforce product and technical capabilities resulting from product releases and acquisitions.
– Work closely with enablement to ensure on-time and quality delivery of releases.
2. Requirements
– Have 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including advanced Salesforce certifications
– Have 3+ years of experience strong leadership/management skills leading a team for at least 3 years.
– Have experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Java.
– Are proficient in other languages/development (XML, Flex, JavaScript, .NET, SQL, C++, SOAP-based web services).
– Have in-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and experience building integrations with Salesforce.com and other platforms.
– Have a proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code into best practices.
– Demonstrate experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools.
– Can write, interpret, critique, and implement technical specifications.
– Have experience working with large data sets and bulkification.
– Have excellent conversational and written English.
